Seawaves ripple,

blue and green

A King is passing by

Pure white, ash black,

He rides the storm

A twinkle in his eye

Feathers smoothed,

Beak poised

He leads his female team

Bathed in earthly sunlight

As bubbling waters gleam

Now he's diving deep

for treats on Ocean floor

mixing molluscs up

A chase takes place below

To the surface with his prize

the Sailor now delights

And bobs upon the surf

Beyond the harbour lights

As stormy weather settles

the Seascape now grows wider

this regal sea duck sails

A strong, resplendent Eider
